We recently had a great time with Dan Lourenço from Ghost Lifestyle on Episode #088 of the PricePlow Podcast to talk about all things Ghost, and some big news was unveiled.
No regular PricePlow readers will be surprised by our affinity for Ghost – it’s an incredible brand that has pushed the industry forward in countless ways since its inception. On the podcast, we talked with Dan about Ghost’s 2022, a year which earned Ghost its third straight Brand of the Year award from PricePlow (listen to our 2022 supplement industry awards).
Then we dove into Ghost’s 2023 plans, and that’s when things got interesting:
Ghost Legend V3 is coming!
Dan gave us a heads up on a revamp of Ghost Legend, with this third version bringing some formula changes. Ghost Legend V3 has the following changes:
- Senactiv is getting removed from the formula.
Dan has repeatedly stated how much he loves the ingredient, and it’s still in several other products like Ghost Hydration and Ghost Size. It simply didn’t move the needle enough to be in a pre-workout, and Ghost would rather include more servings (see final bullet point.
- Alpha-GPC is getting remove and replaced with choline bitartrate, primarily for global compliance purposes due to Alpha-GPC’s near-banned status in Europe
- Rauwolfia / bitter orange will be removed and replaced by NeuroFactor, which is closer to the Ghost Legend UK formula (or Leonardo TMNT formula)
- 30 servings instead of 25, but at the same price. Take that, shrinkflation!
